I am a personal finance coach specializing in coaching and education around foundational financial topics. I love college football and basketball but I doubt that’s why you are here. Seriously, I love, love, love reviewing my personal budget, it helps me to relax. BUT, budgeting has not always been one of my favorite things. After graduating from college and even getting a Master’s degree in Accounting I still found myself in loads of credit card debt with a car loan thrown in for good measure. To this day I still don’t know where the money was going, but I finally realized that something wasn’t right. I’d been tithing since I was 6 years old, so surely by now the windows of heaven should have been open and pouring out blessings that I didn’t have room enough to receive.
One day it finally clicked, that I needed to know where my money was going and be more intentional about my spending and saving. Fast forward 4-5 years and I’d paid off over $75,000 in debt. (ummmm yeah so let me be clear, that wasn’t easy but we will discuss how I did it later.) Once I started making progress, I also wanted to get my friends and family involved. My desire to bring others on this path to financial freedom was born. After years of assisting friends and family with budgeting, savings, and debt payoff strategies, Integrity Budgets was created.
