All throughout the Bible, we see that our God is a planner, we even sing about him being intentional, and we believe that we were created in his image. Yet, many of us are managing our finances with no plan or direction. I have learned that budgeting is not an exercise in denying yourself the comforts of life. A budget is not a no spending straight jacket. If written correctly, it is simply your financial vision for your life, it is a plan for how you will spend your money. Habakkuk 2:2 says “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it” but, we continue to “budget” in our heads and don’t understand why we don’t seem to be making progress and can’t get our family on the same page. What you need is a proven system that works to help you develop a strong financial foundation and I would be honored to assist you on the journey.
